Suspended Access Scaffolding
Suspended access scaffolding is a type of scaffold that is supported from above, rather than being built from the ground up. It is typically used for tasks that require a very high working platform, such as window cleaning or facade repair work. Suspended scaffolds are made up of a platform, suspended by ropes or cables, that is attached to a suitable anchorage point.
Static Access Scaffolding
Static access scaffolding is a type of scaffold that is built from the ground up, using horizontal and vertical members to create a working platform at any height. Static scaffolds are typically used for tasks such as bricklaying and plastering. Static scaffolds can be either ‘independent’ or ‘putlog’. Independent scaffolds have their own separate support structure, whereas putlog scaffolds are supported by the wall of the building itself.
